Merry Christmas everyone!
To finish off the holiday baking party – the party wouldn’t be complete without…
Rudolph the red-nose reindeer!
When I was browsing/ trying to come up with holiday cookie ideas, I was most excited to try making this guy. Isn’t he adorable?! I seriously wish that I had come up with the genius idea of using an upside-down gingerbread man cutter for this design but I’d be completely lying! Genius. If you’re thinking of making a Rudolph cookie, I’d suggest to have a little browse on Pinterest first because there are different versions of Rudolph. You may like one design better than this or may want to try combining different designs to create your own Rudolph. Either way, I’m sure it’ll turn out super cute!
For this cookie design, you’ll need some gingerbread men shaped cookies, three different brown icings (dark, medium, and very light brownish-tan) as well as black, white, and red icing. First you’ll want to outline the face and ears with the medium brown, as well as pipe out the outline of the antlers with dark brown. Allow this all to dry for about 10 minutes. Next, flood in the face with medium brown, flood in the ears with light brownish-tan, and antlers with dark brown. Once everything is completely dry, pipe in the eyes and nose. Adorable <3
Thanks so much for joining in on the holiday baking party!
