Today marks the official end of classes and exams…. Foreverr! Well, technically its not quite over yet, but it has been an amazing journey so far! Awesome classmates, instructors, and everything in between – going to miss seeing everyone.
It was mom’s birthday yesterday, so I decided to make her a cake… A raspberry almond coffeecake to be exact. Scrumptious.
Sooo… there was quite a bit of left over icing from the previous batches of cookies and throwing it all out wasn’t really an option. There was only one thing to do… make more cookies to decorate! As per other blogs, some have stored extra royal icing for months, whereas some have mentioned weeks… guess…
Love bug? I think I say this a lot, BUT, these cookies are seriously too cute. I wish they were my original idea, but they totally weren’t. I got this idea from a tutorial video that Sweetsugarbelle posted a while back (check it out, she’s so pro!).
C’s friend’s son has really gotten into Super Mario lately. Since we were planning to get him a Super Mario themed gift, I thought it would be neat to add in a small batch of Super Mario inspired birthday cookies to go along with the gift.
