DIY Christmas Cookie Gift Idea

When it comes to holiday gifts, I always have such a hard time finding the ‘perfect’ gifts.

Which has brought me to the conclusion that you can never go wrong with homemade gifts!

Especially tasty gingerbread cookies!

I bought a set of 4 snowflake cutters after Christmas last year (on sale!) and decided to put them to use for this DIY gift idea. I wanted to stack the cookies so they’d look like a tree, so I used 3 different sized cutters. I cut 3 of the largest/ middle sizes and 2 of the smallest size.

If you don’t have snowflake cutters, it also works with star shaped cutters. Similar to the gingerbread house, I used this recipe for the cookies. Once you’re all done decorating the cookies, just stack them up from largest to smallest, put them in a nice bag and pop on a gift tag.
